Ensuring Connectivity for the Growing Blue UAS Cleared List
Date/Time: Thursday, September 5 at 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm ET
Webinar Description:
In this live webinar, join leaders from DIU, Freefly Systems, PDW and host Doodle Labs for an insiders’ conversation about expanding the Blue UAS program, how drone manufacturers are innovating to meet the evolving needs of the warfighter and how resilient connectivity and anti-jamming have become a top priority for both military and industrial drone operators.
Defense Innovation Unit’s Blue UAS Cleared List is the Department of Defense’s designation for drone platforms that meet rigorous performance and production standards and are cleared for quicker, easier procurement by U.S. government and defense entities.
Doodle Labs Mesh Rider Radios are part of the Blue UAS Framework cleared components list. Freefly Systems’ Astro Prime and PDW’s C100 each leverage Doodle Labs datalinks for resilient connectivity and performance in the field, and to support their own inclusion on the Blue UAS Cleared List.
The expansion of the Cleared List, a recent increase in the number of Blue UAS Framework cleared components and DIU’s first-ever “Blue UAS Refresh Challenge,” an open call to identify prospective new Blue platforms, components and capabilities, are all part of an effort by DIU to increase UAS optionality for DoD end-users and expand the reach of the program.
