LORD Corp.’s MicroStrain Sensing Systems has announced developments to its SensorCloud cloud-based sensor data platform.

The SensorCloud is designed with data storage, visualization and remote management features that are capable of integrating with cloud computing technologies to provide data scalability, rapid graphing and user-programmable online analytics.

“We’re very pleased to offer our customers these great enhancements to our award-winning SensorCloud platform,” says Justin Bessette, LORD MicroStrain’s manager of software engineering. “These new features will make SensorCloud users even more productive due to its improved ease-of-use and data collaboration tools for sharing data. When combined with MathEngine, the SensorCloud data platform brings custom analytics to the cloud for a complete end-to-end Internet of Things solution.”

New features of the SensorCloud include, shared views of user data, including embeddable FastGraph charts, which allow Web sharing of data, original equipment manufacturer white label options and MathEngine iPython notebooks.

“We’re confident these features will be a game-changer for prospective SensorCloud™ platform users,” says Bessette. “The API and the CSV import tool allow users to upload their own data, making it easier than ever to immediately start experiencing the benefits.”
