Arcturus Test Flies Sensor on UAV

Arcturus UAV announced that it has completed test flights of its 2-D and 3-D imagery sensor, GeoDragon, on the company’s T-20 medium-range unmanned aircraft.
The sensor is a wing-mounted pod that can reconstruct and environment in near real time, producing data sets, elevation models and wide-area maps. The company says it will release the product integrated onto the T-20 sometime this year.
The aircraft currently includes daytime/nighttime infrared cameras and an onboard GPS autopilot. The aircraft has a 16-hour endurance and can fly via waypoint navigation and accept multiple flight plans from its ground control station.
