Next week, Flying Productions Ltd. will launch Da-Vinci, a compact, lightweight, VTOL small unmanned aerial system.

The system is comprised of a multirotor aircraft, portable ground control station and sensor payload and is light enough to be carried by one person.

The portable ground control station integrates sophisticated control modes, target sharing, multi-drone control and an advanced warning management system.

The payload is a dual electro-optical/infrared sensor delivering infrared continuous zoom, onboard video encoding, and low light capability with real-time streaming for multiple displays and dual-axis stabilization.

According to a company press release, the system is ideal for urban areas with non-line-of-sight communications.

“Thanks to its vertical takeoff and landing capability, the Da-Vinci is the perfect solution for the dense environments typical of urban warfare,” says Flying Productions CEO Tal Shahar. “The solution enables real-time information to reach fighters in the field, providing them with the advantage of knowing what’s going on behind the wall and over the hill.”
