Aero Surveillance Offers New VTOL RPAS

Today, Aero Surveillance announced the ASV 100, a new vertical takeoff and landing remotely piloted aircraft system.
The tactical unmanned helicopter carries a modular integrated payload of up to 20 kilograms for three hours and has a maximum gross takeoff weight of 40 kilograms.
The standard ASV 100 system includes two aircraft, two ARDENT mission systems and a transportable ground control system.
The ARDENT mission system contains a dual-sensor gyrostabilized gimbal, a ruggedized mission computer, a precision attitude heading and reference system and a unit for line-of-sight data transmission.
Typical sensor configuration will include an electro-optical turret, a board image and signal processing, large data storage and a combination of line-of-sight and satellite transmission capabilities. The suite can also be customized.
