DreamHammer’s Ballista Offers Multi-Platform, Multi-Domain Control

On 15 May, DreamHammer debuted the beta launch of its Ballista software, able to simultaneously control multiple unmanned vehicle systems across all domains.

The software offers an open platform to help overcome the problems of operating multiple, separately controlled systems, the company says.

“Some unmanned systems take as many as 200 people to manage a single drone, much more resources than manned vehicles,” says DeamHammer CEO Nelson Paez. “Ballista allows a single user to manage multiple drones simultaneously.”

Using Ballista, multiple unmanned systems can work together to execute a task or a combined mission. The software can operate on space, air, sea and land systems, says DreamHammer, and can be used on computers, tablets and phones.
