Webinar Description/Abstract: Magnetometers are indispensable tools for navigation, but achieving accurate data requires careful consideration of environmental, instrumental, and operational factors. Proper calibration and interference reduction are essential to maximize accuracy. Understanding and addressing the factors influencing magnetometer accuracy will ensure reliable and precise results when developing uncrewed navigation systems.

About the Speakers:

Maxwell Goodman heads sales and marketing at Applied Physics Systems, a leader in designing and manufacturing highly accurate and robust magnetic and gravity sensors used for orientation and navigation applications across multiple industries, including energy exploration, aerospace, and defense.

Tim Worley is a principal engineer at Applied Physics Systems. Tim has extensive experience with inertial guidance systems and sensor integration and works closely with customers to design and implement technical solutions that involve accelerometer and magnetometer sensors.
