Harvest Automation Rental Program

Harvest Automation has begun an introductory robot rental program for nurseries and greenhouses.



The Massachusetts-based company will be renting out their flagship HV-100 robot. The program includes four robots for three months and will cost $15,000. If renters choose to purchase the robots, 100 percent of the rental cost will be discounted from the sale price. 



The fully autonomous HV-100 is capable of moving most common container sizes to reduce costs for spacing, consolidating or collecting plants. According to the company, the robots will reduce water and fertilizer usage, increase product turnover, and improve worker health and safety.
