Arlington, Va. - The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems (AUVSI) will co-host the 2022 FAA Drone Symposium, held on April 28 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Media are invited to cover the open press event.
This year’s theme is “Arise,” focusing on the expansion and advancement of drones as a critical commercial business tool. Session topics include the recently released report from the Beyond Visual Line Of Sight (BVLOS) Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC), on which AUVSI President and CEO Brian Wynne served; as well as remote identification rules, UAS Traffic Management, and where the industry is heading.

Wynne co-authored the BVLOS ARC report and is a member of FAA’s Management Advisory Council and Advanced Aviation Advisory Committee.
