Neptec Technologies Taps AutonomouStuff for Lidar Product Distribution

Neptec Technologies Corp. announced that AutonomouStuff is now the distributor for its new Opal 2.0 LiDAR products. 



Neptec’s newest innovation is the Opal 2.0 3D Laser Scanner that uses lidar technology and is able to endure harsh conditions. The scanner uses 3-D real-time intelligence software to allow integration of machine vision solutions. 



Bobby Hambrick, CEO of AutomouStuff, says, “Opal scanners overcome many of the limitations of conventional laser scanners currently used in autonomous solutions — they have extended range, operate at 1540 nanometers wavelength, can penetrate obscurants such as dense dust and snow, and are ruggedized for harsh environments — all of which make them very attractive for real-time automation solutions.”
