RMT Robotics Becomes Cimcorp in North America

Canadian RMT Robotics is now Cimcorp Automation Ltd., a manufacturer of robotic gantry-based order fulfillment and tire handling solutions.
The company has now fully integrated with Finland-based Cimcorp Oy into a single brand after joining the Cimcorp Group in 2010. The unification will drive innovation in research and development and allow the companies to offer an extensive material handling and automation solutions portfolio, according to a company press release.
“The union of these brands under a single umbrella signifies a successful execution of product development and brand positioning that has allowed us to offer one suite of solutions across the worldwide distribution landscape,” says Martti Artama, president of Cimcorp Oy. “We look forward to increasing the global footprint of the Cimcorp brand and contributing to the North American Market.”
The companies combined offerings include automated solutions for the tire, food and beverage, e-commerce, consumer goods and postal service industries.
