Arlington, VA – The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International today announced two new members of its Board of Directors. The new board members are Jonathan Downey, CEO of Airware, and Lauren McCollum, director of legislative affairs at Lockheed Martin Corp.
“These new members join an already excellent board that will help to support the future of our trade association and the unmanned systems industry,” said Brian Wynne, president and CEO of AUVSI. “As leaders at two innovative companies, Jonathan and Lauren will bring valuable expertise to the board and we look forward to their service.”
Mr. Downey is the founder and CEO of Airware, a San Francisco-based company established in 2011 that is building a hardware, software, and a cloud services platform enabling the rapid development and safe operation of commercial UAS for a variety of enterprise-focused applications.
